FC Taraz ( kk, Taraz Fýtbol Klýby) is a Kazakhstani professional football club based at the Taraz Central Stadium in Taraz. A leading club in the early years of the Kazakhstan Premier League, they were champions in 1996, and Kazakhstan Cup winners in 2004. History After initially being relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2016 season, Taraz was reinstated on 3 February 2017 after the Football Federation of Kazakhstan ruled that Altai Semey did not meet the required entry requirements for the Premier League. Taraz Central Stadium
Central Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Taraz, Kazakhstan. It is currently used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and is the home stadium of FC Taraz. History The stadium was inaugurated in 1936. In 1948 running track and wooden stands were built around the pitch. These were replaced by two reinforced concrete stands during the 1975 reconstruction, which increased the then bench seating made capacity of the stadium to approximately 40,000. In 2002 individual seats were installed, reducing capacity of the venue to 12,525. Nurken Kaldybekuly Mazbayev ( kk, Нұркен Қалдыбекұлы Мәзбаев) is a former Kazakhstani football forward. He retired on 20 May 2008, having played 16 seasons and scoring 142 goals in Kazakhstan Premier League, which makes him the second all-time top scorer of the tournament. Mazbayev made 13 appearances and scored 2 goals for the Kazakhstan national football team from 2000 to 2004. He has managed Taraz. Vladimir Alekseyevich Gulyamkhaydarov (russian: Владимир Алексеевич Гулямхайдаров; born 26 February 1946) is Tajikistani football coach. Managing career In 1994, Gulyamkhaydarov was appointed as the Head Coach of Tajikistan. In 1996, Gulyamkhaydarov was appointed as the Manager of FC Ekibastuzets in the Kazakhstan Premier League. Gulyamkhaydarov coached FC Kairat between 1999 and 2003, where he was also the Manager for a short period in 2003. After leaving Kairat, Gulyamkhaydarov became the coach of FC Taraz for the remainder of the 2003 season. Gulyamkhaydarov coached Kairat between 2004 and 2005, and then FC Zhetysu in 2006. In June 2008, Gulyamkhaydarov was appointed as manager of newly promoted Kazakhstan Premier League side FC Megasport. Vakhid Masudov (Kazakh: Вахид Юнусұлы Масудов, Vahid İunusūly Masudov) - Soviet and Kazakh footballer, midfielder. He played for the national team of Kazakhstan. Master of Sports of the USSR (1986). Has a coaching category "A". Career In the spring of 1977 he made his debut in the team of masters «Khimik» (Dzhambul). A year later, he moved to the «Xorazm» team from Xonqa, where he was recommended by ex-Khimik player Christopher Kaskinidi. Returning to Dzhambul in the fall of 1978, he received a summons to the military registration and enlistment office and went to serve in a team from Kyzylorda «Orbita».
