FC Levski-Rakovski Sofia
Levski-Rakovski ( bg, Левски-Раковски) is a Bulgarian association football club based in Sofia, which competes in the A RFG Sofa Capital South , the forth division of the Bulgarian football league system. Levski-Rakovskis home ground is the Rakovski Stadium in Sofia, which has a capacity of 5,000 spectators. History Levski-Rakovski began its history as a supporting youth academy for Levski Sofia. In 2017 Stanislav Angelov was announced as the new director of the academy. 2017–present: Stanislav Angelov takeover In August 2017, Krasimir Ivanov, CEO of Levski Sofia, announced that Levski-Rakovski Academy is no longer part of Levski. Stanislav Angelov
Stanislav Angelov ( bg, Станислав Ангелов; born 12 April 1978), also known as Peleto ( bg, Пелето), is a former Bulgarian footballer and currently owner and manager of Levski-Rakovski. Angelov played as a defensive midfielder, sometimes as a fullback or centre back. Career CSKA Sofia Born in Sofia, Angelov started his career at CSKA Sofia, where he played as a left back. He made his first appearance for the club during the 1998–99 season and has been a regular player since the 1999–2000 season. He made his debut on 17 April 1999, in a 0–2 home loss against Metalurg Pernik. Angelov scored his first career goal in a 4–0 win over Shumen on 6 May 2000. 2022–23 Bulgarian Cup
The 2022–23 Bulgarian Cup is the 41st official edition of the Bulgarian annual football knockout tournament. It is sponsored by ''Sesame'' and known as the Sesame Kupa na Bulgaria for sponsorship purposes. The competition should begin on 21 September 2022 with the preliminary round and finish with the final on 24 May 2023. Levski Sofia were the defending cup winners, but were eliminated by Ludogorets Razgrad in the round of 16. The winner qualifies for the second qualifying round of the 2023–24 UEFA Europa Conference League. Bulgarian Cup
The Bulgarian Cup ( bg, Купа на България, Kupa na Bulgaria) is a Bulgarian annual football competition. It is the country's main cup competition and all officially registered Bulgarian football teams take part in it. The tournament's format is ''single-elimination'', with all matches being one-legged, except the semi-finals. The competition's winner gets the right to take part in the UEFA Europa Conference League. If the winner has already secured a place through the Bulgarian A Professional Football Group, the team that has come ''fourth'' in the championship substitutes it. The competition has been dominated by Sofia-based teams. The Sofia teams have won together a total number of 65 titles. The Bulgarian Third Amateur Football League ( bg, Трета аматьорска футболна лига, Treta Amat'orska Futbolna Liga), commonly referred to as Third League ( bg, Трета лига) or Treta liga, is the third level of the Bulgarian football league system. Third League operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the second and the fourth tier of the Bulgarian football league pyramid – respectively being Second League and the A Oblast Groups. Regional Amateur Football Groups (Bulgaria)
The Bulgarian Regional Amateur Football Groups ( bg, Областни Аматьорски Футболни Групи, Oblastin Amat'orski Futbolni Grupi) are the 4th and 5th level of the Bulgarian football league system. There are 41 groups called A Regional Football Groups and 19 B Regional Football Groups. Teams from B RFG are promoted to A RFG and A RFG teams are promoted to Third Amateur Football League (Bulgaria), Third League. Competition format A RFG (or A OFG) has 28 regional geographically specified divisions, as some of the regions have more than one group. 28 teams are promoted to Third League at the end of every season. there are 9 B RFG (or B OFG) divisions registered for season 2015-16. Milan Koprivarov
Milan Koprivarov ( bg, Милан Коприваров; born 20 July 1983 in Ihtiman) is a Bulgarian retired footballer and now manager, currently working as academy coach for Levski-Rakovski. Koprivarov is a left attacking midfielder. Club career A product of the PFC Levski Sofia youth system, Koprivarov spent some years on loans at smaller teams and impressed during his stay at Rodopa Smolyan. In 2005, new Levski Sofia manager Stanimir Stoilov announced that he is going to rely more on youngsters from the club and brought Koprivarov back to the club.
