FC Dynamo Odessa
FC Dynamo Odesa is an amateur association football team from Odesa. It is widely believed that the club along with Pishchevik were predecessors of FC Chornomorets Odesa. Overview The club was established in 1926 based on local team Sparta Odesa that was created few years earlier in 1923. For couple of seasons in 1938–1939 the team was member of the Soviet football championship Group A, the Soviet league's top tier. In 1940 the Dynamo Odesa football team was dissolved and its players joined Pishchevik sports society that was recently promoted to the Soviet football championship Group B, the Soviet second tier, from the Ukrainian republican competitions. 1994–95 Amateur championship of Ukraine was the third amateur championship of Ukraine and the 31st since the establishment of championship among fitness clubs (KFK) in 1964. The format of competitions was preserved as in the Soviet competitions where there was six independent groups split by regional principal. A record of 91 teams participated in competitions. Dynamo, also Dinamo, (; , Belarusian: Дынама, ka, დინამო) was a sports and fitness society created in 1923 in the Soviet Union. The society was an association of multi-sport clubs whose members were drawn from the NKVD and, after World War II, the MVD and the KGB. With the Soviet occupation of Eastern Europe after World War II, similar Dynamo societies were established throughout the Eastern Bloc, such as SV Dynamo (East Germany).
