The club was formerly known as Uniclinic Atlético Clube and Centro de Treinamento Uniclinic. History The club was founded on 7 March 1997 as ''Centro de Treinamento Uniclinic'', and played their first senior tournament took place in 1998, as they featured and won the Campeonato Cearense Second Level. In 2002, after finishing ninth in the year's Campeonato Cearense, Uniclinic suffered relegation. The club returned to the top tier in 2004, after finishing second in the 2003 Second Division. In 2008, they were renamed to ''Uniclinic Atlético Clube'', and once again suffered relegation in the Cearense. The club spent the next five seasons in the second level, suffering relegation to the Campeonato Cearense Third Level in 2013. The Estádio Presidente Vargas, nicknamed ''PV'', is a multi-purpose stadium located in Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil. Associação Ferroviária de Esportes, commonly referred to as simply Ferroviária, is a Brazilian association football club in Araraquara, São Paulo. They currently play in the Série D, the fourth tier of Brazilian football, as well as in the Campeonato Paulista, São Paulo's premier state league. 2017 Copa Do Nordeste
The 2017 Copa do Nordeste was the 14th edition of the main football tournament featuring teams from the Brazilian Northeast Region. The competition featured 20 clubs, with Bahia and Pernambuco having three seeds each, and Ceará, Rio Grande do Norte, Sergipe, Alagoas, Paraíba, Maranhão and Piauí with two seeds each. Bahia defeated Sport 2–1 on aggregate to win their third Copa do Nordeste title. After the format changes implemented by CONMEBOL, Bahia did not qualify to Copa Sudamericana. The 2017 Copa do Brasil (officially the Copa Continental AG, Continental Pneus do Brasil 2017 for sponsorship reasons) was the 29th edition of the Copa do Brasil football competition. 2016 Campeonato Cearense
The 2016 Campeonato Cearense de Futebol was the 102nd season of top professional football league in the state of Ceará, Brazil. The competition began in January and will end in May. Format The ten teams are split in two groups, who play a double round robin against teams in the same group. The three best in each group advance to the second stage, while the two worst from each group are put in the loser's group. In the loser's group, the four teams play against each other in a double round-robin, and the two worst are relegated. In the second stage, the six teams are split in two groups, who play against the other teams in the same group twice. The two best in each group advance to the final stage. The final stage are playoffs, where the teams are seeded by their performance in the whole championship.
