FC Ameri Tbilisi
FC Ameri Tbilisi was a Georgian football club based in the district of Gldani in Tbilisi. The club was founded in 2002 and was dissolved in 2009 after a financial troubles. Ameri won promotion for the Second Division after the 2002–03 season. In 2003/04 they finished 12th out of 16 and were to be relegated, but were saved after withdrawal of two teams. In 2004/05 they became the champions of the Second Division, winning promotion to Umaglesi Liga. In 2005/06 they finished seventh in the league, but won the Georgian Cup. This allowed them to enter the UEFA Cup. GKS Bełchatów
GKS Bełchatów is a Polish professional football club based in Bełchatów that currently plays in the IV liga. History GKS Bełchatów entered Poland's Klasa A in 1977 under the name of Węgiel Brunatny Bełchatów, and gained promotion to the III liga in the 1981–82 season. It took the club another seven years to rise to the II liga (1986/1987 season), before winning a place in the top-tier I liga in 1992. After another spell in II liga, the club again won promotion to the I liga at the end of the 2004–05 season. The club finished the 2005–06 season in 10th place, with 37 points. The following season they challenged for the league title. After spending much of the latter part of the 2006–07 season in first place, they were ultimately overtaken by Zagłębie Lubin and had to settle for second place. The Georgian Super Cup is a competition consisting of a single football match played between the champions of the Erovnuli Liga and the winners of the Georgian Cup. It was first held in 1996. The 2006–07 Georgian Cup (also known as the ''David Kipiani Cup'') was the sixty-third season overall and seventeenth since independence of the Georgian annual football tournament. A penalty shoot-out (officially kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method in association football to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) have expired. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different kickers; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead. If scores are level after five pairs of shots, the shootout progresses into additional " sudden-death" rounds. 2007–08 UEFA Cup
The 2007–08 UEFA Cup was the 37th edition of the UEFA Cup, UEFA's second-tier club football tournament. The final was played at the City of Manchester Stadium, Manchester, England on 14 May 2008 between Rangers of Scotland and Zenit Saint Petersburg of Russia. Zenit won the match 2–0, with goals from Igor Denisov and Konstantin Zyryanov, to claim their first UEFA Cup title.
