Everything Moves Alone
''Everything Moves Alone'' is a 2001 independent comedy film produced by Connecticut filmmakers Mike Aransky, Phil Guerrette and Thomas Edward Seymour. ''Everything Moves Alone'' (shot in 1999 on 16mm) is a largely forgotten film from the 90's independent film movement. This film is a dramatic comedy is in the spirit of ''Slacker'' and ''Bottle Rocke''t. The film follows the journey of a suicidal ex-soldier named Scotch (Guerrette) who tracks down his estranged and hostile brother (Aransky) in a small New England town. In this new surrounding, Scotch becomes involved in a strange and comically violent feud between a wealthy but misanthropic local (Seymour) and the easily excitable owner of a video store (Matt Ford). “Everything Moves Alone” was shot in 16mm on a $9,000 budget, with a six-person film crew. Connecticut
Connecticut () is the southernmost state in the New England region of the Northeastern United States. Thomas Edward Seymour (born January 20, 1977, in New Britain, Connecticut) is an American filmmaker and actor. Tom Seymour is considered one of the "Top Twenty Contemporary Underground Filmmakers in the U.S.", according to the book ''The History of Independent Cinema'', He is most known for the award-winning documentaries ''VHS Massacre,'' ''VHS Massacre Too'', and ''MacLeod'', distributed by FilmRise, NBC/Universal Peacock TV, MUBI, Shudder's Mid May Massacre and Troma Entertainment (2016–2021). The documentaries feature Joe Bob Briggs, James Rolfe, Greg Sestero, Debbie Rochon, Lloyd Kaufman, Juliette Danielle and Kevin MacLeod. They concentrate on the video store era and how media consolidation has destroyed the American exploitation film industry. Hartford, Connecticut
Hartford is the capital city of the U.S. state of Connecticut. It was the seat of Hartford County until Connecticut disbanded county government in 1960. It is the core city in the Greater Hartford metropolitan area. Bare Bones International Film Festival
The Bare Bones International Film and Music Festival was founded in 1999 by the Darkwood Film Arts Institute (DFAI) in the city of Muskogee, Oklahoma, United States to showcase independent motion picture projects with budgets of less than 1 million dollars (hence "bare bones"). The festival runs for eleven days each year in late April at several venues in downtown Muskogee. The Scare-A-Con Film Festival (formerly the B-Movie Film Festival) is an annual film festival held in Syracuse, United States.
