Group C of the EuroBasket 2015 took place between 5 and 10 September 2015. The group played all of its games at Arena Zagreb in Zagreb, Croatia. The group composed of Croatia, Georgia, Greece, Macedonia, Netherlands and Slovenia. The four best ranked teams advanced to the second round. Standings ''All times are local (UTC+2).'' 5 September Georgia v Netherlands The Dutch led 12 points at one point in the fourth quarter, but Georgia fought back. Robin Smeulders hit the game-winning jump shot with 18 seconds on the clock. It was the first EuroBasket win for the Netherlands since 4 June 1987. EuroBasket 2015
EuroBasket 2015 was the 39th edition of the EuroBasket championship that was organized by FIBA Europe. It was co-hosted by Croatia, France, Germany, and Latvia, making it the first EuroBasket held in more than one country. It started on 5 September and ended on 20 September 2015. The top two teams ( and ) qualified to the 2016 Summer Olympics. The next five teams (, , , and the ) advanced to the World Olympic Qualifying Tournaments. and later qualified due to Serbia and Italy hosting two of the Olympic qualifying tournaments while also qualified as an invitee. Spain won their third title by defeating Lithuania 80–63 in the final. France won bronze on home soil defeating Serbia (81–68). The final game was held in the Stade Pierre-Mauroy and set a new record for the highest attendance in a EuroBasket game, with 26,922. Pau Gasol was named the tournament's MVP. Worthy De Jong
Worthy Donovan Rafael de Jong (born 14 March 1988) is a Dutch 3x3 basketball player and former professional 5x5 player. Standing at 6 ft 4.3 in (1.94 m), De Jong plays the shooting guard or the small forward position. He played 13 seasons as a professional player in the Netherlands, of which 11 were with ZZ Leiden. He is Leiden's all-time leader in points, rebounds and assists, and is nicknamed "Mister ZZ Leiden". With Leiden, he won three Dutch championships and two Dutch Cups. Roko Leni Ukić (born December 5, 1984) is a Croatian professional basketball player currently playing for Split in the Croatian League and ABA League.
