Etinan
Etinan is located within the South South part of Nigeria and constitutes one of the Local Government Areas in the oil rich Akwa Ibom State. Known for its agricultural and arts craft products, the area forms one of the most peaceful locations in the West African State of Nigeria. Etinan is also home to the famous Peacock Paints Industries and NIFOR zonal office. Within Etinan LGA, is the village of Mbioto, home town of the former Akwa Ibom state governor Obong Akpan Isemin, the village of Ikot Udo Abia, which was part of the route of the African slave trade. Eket
Eket is one of the 31 local government areas in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. The name ''Eket'' or Ekid also refers to the indigenous ethnic group of the region and to their language. The Eket people use the endonym ''Ekid'' for themselves and their language, but Europeans spell and pronounce the name as "Eket". The town itself is an industrial city that in recent years has become a conurbation joining together separate villages. Obong Akpan Isemin
Obong Akpan Isemin was elected governor of Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria from January 1992 to November 1993 during the Nigerian Third Republic. He also held the traditional title of Obong Ikpa Isong Ibibio, one of the traditional titles amongst the Ibibio nation. Background Isemin was born about 1939 in Mbioto, Etinan local government area in Akwa Ibom state, of Ibibio background. He attended the Etinan Institute for his secondary education, then the University of Nigeria, Nsukka where he earned a B.Sc. degree in Economics. He first worked with Agip and Esso Standard in the oil industry. Mkpat-Enin
Mkpat-Enin is located in the South South region of Nigeria and is a town and a Local Government Area (LGA) of Akwa Ibom State. It sits at an altitude of approximately above sea level. Mkpat Enin LGA has an area of and it's the second largest local government area in Akwa Ibom state.
