Etang Discher
Enriqueta "Etang" Discher Grau (November 24, 1906 – November 22, 1991) was a prominent Philippines, Filipina character film actress frequently cast in villainous roles. Her stern, gaunt Castilian people, Castilian face loomed in many post-war Filipino films, especially soap opera-type dramas. She was the woman Filipino movie audiences loved to hate, often playing a villainous aunt, mother-in-law or even a witch. While her roles were hardly predisposed to have made her a star, she nonetheless was one of the more famous (or infamous) and durable stars of Filipino films. Many of her films were produced by Sampaguita Pictures, the studio under which she was under contract for a significant part of her career. Panchito Alba
Alfonso Discher Tagle Sr., better known as Panchito Alba or simply Panchito (February 5, 1925 – December 18, 1995), was a Filipino film actor who almost exclusively appeared in comedy roles. He was known for his swarthy looks and a prominent big nose, which was often the target of ridicule, especially Dolphy calling him "baboy ramo" (wild boar). Panchito frequently appeared as a comedic foil to Dolphy, with whom he was best friends in real life. Biography Panchito was born in Paco, Manila. Paru-Parong bukid is a traditional "Kutang-Kutang" Philippines, Filipino folk song which originated from "Mariposa Bella", a Spanish language in the Philippines, Filipino song in Spanish originated in the 1890s.
