Estonian National Road 15
Tugimaantee 15 (ofcl. abbr. T15), also called the Tallinn–Rapla–Türi highway ( et, Tallinna–Rapla–Türi maantee), is a 97.2-kilometre-long north-south national basic road in northern Estonia. The highway begins at the Tallinn district of Nõmme on national road 4 under the name of Viljandi maantei. It crosses national road 11 in Luige and passes through Kohila, Hagudi, Rapla, Kehtna, Lelle and Käru to national road 5 in Türi. Tallinn
Tallinn () is the most populous and capital city of Estonia. Situated on a bay in north Estonia, on the shore of the Gulf of Finland of the Baltic Sea, Tallinn has a population of 437,811 (as of 2022) and administratively lies in the Harju ''maakond'' (county). Käru
Käru is a small borough ( et, alevik) in Türi Parish, Järva County, Estonia. Before the administrative reform in 2017, Käru was the administrative centre of Käru Parish. Käru has a railway station on the Tallinn - Viljandi railway line operated by Elron (rail transit). Käru manor Käru (german: Kerro) was established as an estate in the mid-18th century. The present building was built in 1878 and designed by Riga architect Robert Pflug. It is an eclectic building with mainly neo-Renaissance elements. It was damaged during the Revolution of 1905 and also during World War II. The manor house ensemble has several well-preserved and unusual outbuildings and annexes. Explorer Karl von Ditmar was the landowner of Käru. Economist Ragnar Nurkse (1907–1959) was born in Käru Manor. Türi Parish ( et, Türi Vald) is a rural municipality in Järva County, Estonia. On 16 October 2005 Kabala Parish, Oisu Parish, Town of Türi and the former Türi Parish were united to form a new Türi Parish. Estonian National Road 5
Põhimaantee 5 (abbreviated T5) is a 184-kilometre long west-east national main road in Estonia. The highway starts outside Pärnu. After this the main cities passed are Vändra, Türi, Paide and Rakvere. The highway ends in Sõmeru when intersecting with the T1. The road forms a minor southwest-northeast transport artery in Estonia. In 2015, the highest traffic density on the route was between Sõmeru and Rakvere, with an AADT of 6,000. The figures nearly beat the section between Paide and Mäo, with an AADT of 5,900. The road is a dual carriageway for 1.5 kilometres. The short section can be found at Mäo, on the interchange with the T2. Currently there are no plans to further widen the road. It has a station on the Tallinn - Viljandi railway line operated by Elron, and until December 2018 was the junction with the former branch to Pärnu. Kehtna
Kehtna (german: Kechtel) is a small borough ( et, alevik) in Rapla County, in central Estonia, located about southeast of the town of Rapla. Other nearby settlements include Keava, Kaerepere and Lelle. Kehtna is the administrative centre of Kehtna Parish. It has a population of 1,674 (as of 1 January 2012). Kehtna Manor was first mentioned in 1470 as ''Kectel'' and in 1485 as ''Hof Kechtenal''. The Early-Classicist main building was built in the 1790s. After a fire in 1905, it was rebuilt in 1906–10 and gained its current Baroque look. The manor is surrounded by a large park with a varied collection of shrubs.
