Kehtna
Kehtna (german: Kechtel) is a small borough ( et, alevik) in Rapla County, in central Estonia, located about southeast of the town of Rapla. Other nearby settlements include Keava, Kaerepere and Lelle. Kehtna is the administrative centre of Kehtna Parish. It has a population of 1,674 (as of 1 January 2012). Kehtna Manor was first mentioned in 1470 as ''Kectel'' and in 1485 as ''Hof Kechtenal''. The Early-Classicist main building was built in the 1790s. After a fire in 1905, it was rebuilt in 1906–10 and gained its current Baroque look. The manor is surrounded by a large park with a varied collection of shrubs. Kehtna Parish ( et, Kehtna vald) is a rural municipality in central Estonia. It is a part of Rapla County. The municipality has a population of 5,182 (as of 1 January 2004) and covers an area of 507.3 km². The population density is 10.2 inhabitants per km². Rummu Jüri (born Jüri Rummo; in Kehtna Parish – unknown) was an Estonians, Estonian Vagrants, itinerant, thief and robber. He has become the archetype, archetypical Estonians, Estonian folk hero, an outlaw who stole from the Wealth, rich to give to the poor. Alo Dupikov (born 5 November 1985 in Kehtna) is a former Estonian professional footballer, who played as a striker. During his career he earned five caps for Estonia national team in friendlies. Club career On 1 July 2010 in Europa League qualification match against Dinamo Tbilisi Dupikov scored his first European competition goal. Lelle is a small borough (') in Kehtna Parish, Rapla County, in central Estonia. It has a station on the Tallinn - Viljandi railway line operated by Elron, and until December 2018 was the junction with the former branch to Pärnu. Alo Bärengrub (born 12 February 1984) is a retired Estonian professional footballer who played as a centre-back. Career Bärengrub was born in Kehtna, and made his first-team debut for Lelle in Estonia's second division Esiliiga at the age of 16 in 2000. A year later he joined to Valga. After four seasons he moved to Flora in 2004 and, almost instantly, became an important player at the club. At the age of 23, after four seasons in Flora, Bärengrub moved abroad. In January 2008, he signed a 4-year contract with Norwegian Tippeligaen club Bodø/Glimt. Bärengrub played his first Tippeligaen match on 30 March 2008, in a 2–0 win against HamKam. A borough is an administrative division in various English-speaking countries. In principle, the term ''borough'' designates a self-governing walled town, although in practice, official use of the term varies widely. History In the Middle Ages, boroughs were settlements in England that were granted some self-government; burghs were the Scottish equivalent.
