Espoo United (ice Hockey)
Espoo United was a Finnish semi-professional ice hockey team that played in the Mestis. The team was formed by Jussi Salonoja after the Espoo Blues went bankrupt in 2016. United went bankrupt themselves after the 2017–18 season. Espoo
Espoo (, ; sv, Esbo) is a city and municipality in the region of Uusimaa in the Republic of Finland. It is located on the northern shore of the Gulf of Finland, bordering the cities of Helsinki, Vantaa, Kirkkonummi, Vihti and Nurmijärvi while surrounding the enclaved town of Kauniainen. Tuusula (; sv, Tusby ) is a municipality of Finland. It belongs to the Helsinki sub-region of the Uusimaa region. Petri Jaakko Pakaslahti (born January 22, 1976, in Vaasa, Finland) is a Finnish professional ice hockey forward who plays for Södertälje SK. Pakaslahti is a good defensive center who specializes in faceoffs. He played in the checking line for Team Finland in the 2005 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships, and took defensive zone faceoffs for other lines as well. He also played extensively on penalty kill. Kauniainen (; sv, Grankulla) is a small town and a municipality of inhabitants () in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area, Finland. It is surrounded and enclaved by the City of Espoo, in the Capital Region of Greater Helsinki.
