Enga Ooru Mappillai
''Enga Ooru Mappillai'' () is a 1989 Indian Tamil-language film, directed by T. P. Gajendran and produced by Sureshkanth and M. Jagadeeshwaran. The film stars Ramarajan and Gautami. It also features Goundamani, Senthil, Santhana Bharathi and Kovai Sarala in supporting roles. Plot Velu moves in with his uncle Chokalingam after his mother dies, but is constantly berated by his aunt and her three con artist brothers. Naive and slightly hapless, Velu often takes the blame for the misdeeds of the three brothers. In this manner, he is pitted against Panjavarnam, daughter of Sathyamorthy, a village leader and Gandhian. Ramarajan
Ramarajan (born 18 October, 1960) is an Indian actor, writer, director and politician who specialised in acting and directing films on village-based subjects. He is also known as ''Makkal Nayagan'' in Tamil cinema. Career Ramarajan started his career by doing small roles beginning in the year 1977. He turned director with '' Mannukketha Ponnu'' (1985), Ramarajan instead approached Gangai Amaran to compose music. He got his first hype as a lead in the film ''Namma Ooru Nalla Ooru'', released in 1986. Tiruchirapalli Srinivasan Rangarajan, professionally credited by his pseudonym Vaali (born 29 October 1931 – 18 July 2013) was an Indian poet who is the highest songs wrote lyricist in cinema and whose works were in Tamil, had a five-decade long association with the Tamil film industry, wrote over 15,000 songs. Gangai Amaran is an Indian music composer, singer, lyricist, writer, film director and actor in Tamil films. Personal life Gangai Amaran was born in Pannaipuram in Theni district, Tamil Nadu in December 1947, as the youngest son of Daniel Ramaswamy and Chinnathayi. Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood.
