Emma Quayle
Emma Quayle is an Australian rules football recruiter with Australian Football League (AFL) club the Greater Western Sydney Giants. She was previously a journalist at ''The Age'' newspaper in Melbourne, Australia. Joining as a cadet in 1999, she covered sport from 2001 to 2017, specialising in Australian rules football and in particular the under-18 system and national draft. Quayle won several AFL Media Association awards for her news and feature writing, and in 2017 won a Quill award for best feature writing for her article on Essendon footballer Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti. She was the first person to win three Grant Hattam awards, awarded by the AFL Players Association for the best football journalism. Australian Rules Football
Australian football, also called Australian rules football or Aussie rules, or more simply football or footy, is a contact sport played between two teams of 18 players on an oval field, often a modified cricket ground. Points are scored by kicking the oval ball between the central goal posts (worth six points), or between a central and outer post (worth one point, otherwise known as a "behind"). During general play, players may position themselves anywhere on the field and use any part of their bodies to move the ball. The primary methods are kicking, handballing and running with the ball. Adam Ramanauskas
Adam Ramanauskas (born 19 November 1980) is a former Australian rules footballer for the Essendon Football Club. Of Lithuanian descent, Ramanauskas was selected at no. 12 in the 1998 AFL Draft and was mainly a defender or midfielder. In 2000, he was a regular selection on the wing in Essendon's 2000 premiership season, in which they lost just one game for the entire year. Clem Smith (born 3 February 1996) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played with Carlton in the Australian Football League (AFL). Smith attended Wesley College in Perth. Tom Lamb (born 19 October 1996) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). Tom Lamb is the son of Wayne Lamb, who played for and during the 1990s, and the grandson of St Kilda's 1966 premiership winning ruckman, Ian Cooper. Patrick Veszpremi
Patrick Veszpremi (born 1 September 1989) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with the Sydney Swans and Western Bulldogs in the Australian Football League (AFL). Originally from Bundoora, Victoria, Veszpremi was drafted by Sydney from the Northern Knights in the TAC Cup with the eleventh selection in the 2007 AFL Draft. He was named in the Under 18 All Australian side as a defender, but also played as a forward, where he once kicked eight goals for the Knights in a final.
