El Médico
''El médico'' is a Spanish musical based on the novel of the same name by Noah Gordon, with book and lyrics by Félix Amador, and music by Iván Macías. Its central plot revolves around Rob J. Cole, a young orphan in 11th-century England who has an unusual gift: he can predict death with his hands. Taken in as an apprentice by a traveling barber surgeon, the boy travels across the country discovering the trade and the secrets of the profession. When at the age of 19 he hears of Avicena and her medical school in far away Persia, Rob sets off into the unknown to travel halfway across the world and become a doctor. The show officially premiered on 17 October 2018 at the Teatro Nuevo Apolode Madrid, where it ran for two seasons. The London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is a British symphony orchestra based in London. Founded in 1904, the LSO is the oldest of London's orchestras, symphony orchestras. The LSO was created by a group of players who left Henry Wood's Queen's Hall Orchestra because of a new rule requiring players to give the orchestra their exclusive services. The LSO itself later introduced a similar rule for its members. From the outset the LSO was organised on co-operative lines, with all players sharing the profits at the end of each season.
