The Egyptian Basketball Super League, also known as the Egyptian Basketball Premier League A, is the top professional basketball division of the Egyptian basketball league system. Administrated by the Egyptian Basketball Federation (EBBFED), it is contested by 16 teams, with the two lowest-placed teams Promotion and relegation, relegated to the Egyptian Basketball Premier League B and replaced by the top two teams in that division. Al Ahly is an Egyptian basketball club, located in Cairo, Cairo Governorate, that plays in the Egypt Basketball Super League. Currently, two of its athletes play for the Egypt national basketball team. The team is part of the multi-sports club of the same name. The 2020–21 Egyptian Basketball Super League was the 47th season of the Egyptian Basketball Super League. The champions qualify for the 2022 Basketball Africa League (BAL) season.
