The 2022–23 Egyptian Basketball Premier League was the 48th season of the Premier League, the top level of professional basketball in Egypt. The preliminary round began on 16 December 2022, with six-teen teams making up the league. The season ended on 15 May 2023 with the final game of the finals. Al Ahly were the defending champions, having won the 2021–22 season. Al Ahly defeated Al Ittihad 3–1 in the finals, to win their seventh Premier League title. 2021–22 Egyptian Basketball Super League
The 2021–22 Egyptian Basketball Super League was the 47th season of the Egyptian Basketball Super League, the highest-level basketball league in Egypt. The defending champions were Zamalek; they were eliminated in the semifinals by Al Ittihad Alexandria. The season began on 26 September 2021 and finished on 16 May 2022. Al Ahly won its sixth league title (its first since 2016); they qualify for the regular season of the 2023 season of the Basketball Africa League (BAL). Teams Team changes Sixteen teams competed in this season – the top fourteen of the previous season and two teams that were promoted from the Egyptian Second Division. Olympic Club ( arz, النادي الأوليمبي) is an Egyptian football and sports club based in Alexandria, Egypt. The club currently plays in the Egyptian Second Division, the second-highest league in the Egyptian football league system.
