Ego Trip (Sikter Album)
Ego Trip is the fourth studio album by Bosnian alternative rock band Sikter. It was released on 2 June 2009 by one of the biggest music labels in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hayat Production. Recording of the album began in 2006 and lasted until 2009 at MML Studio in Sarajevo. Producers of album were front-man of the band Enes Zlatar and the drummer of Bosnian band Letu Štuke, Đani Pervan. After a few years of experimenting with many genres, this album was alternative rock oriented with elements of funk and soul. Sikter
Sikter is a Bosnian alternative rock band from Sarajevo. The band was formed in 1990 as a punk rock project of a few students, but became one of the most successful Bosnian rock bands. The name of the band is translated as ''Buzz Off''! From 1990 they changed line-ups many times, as well as musical styles. Their first songs were parodies of Yugoslavian pop songs. Sikter became the first band from Bosnia and Herzegovina whose video clip ''Pain In Brain'' was broadcast on MTV for several months. They recorded four albums: '' Now, Always, Never'' in 2000, '' Queen of the Disco'' in 2002, '' My Music'' in 2005 and '' Ego Trip'' in 2009. Funk
Funk is a music genre that originated in African American communities in the mid-1960s when musicians created a rhythmic, danceable new form of music through a mixture of various music genres that were popular among African Americans in the mid-20th century. It de-emphasizes melody and chord progressions and focuses on a strong rhythmic groove of a bassline played by an electric bassist and a drum part played by a percussionist, often at slower tempos than other popular music. Funk typically consists of a complex percussive groove with rhythm instruments playing interlocking grooves that create a "hypnotic" and "danceable" feel. My Music is the third and most successful studio album by Bosnian alternative rock band Sikter. It was released on 21 August 2005 by Bosnian label Gramofon. LeTourneau University (LETU) is a private, interdenominational Evangelicalism, evangelical Christian university in Longview, Texas. Founded as LeTourneau Technical Institute in February 1946 by R. G. Dušan Vranić
Dušan Vranić, known by his nickname Duco, is a Bosnian musician who is a member of the Darko Rundek's band. Formerly, he was a member of a Bosnian garage rock band Zabranjeno Pušenje. Life and career Vranić was born and raised in Sarajevo, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is a self-taught musician. In 1994, Vranić came to France with a pop-rock band Overdream. Next to him, the band members are Samir Ćeramida, Đani Pervan, Sejo Kovo, and Boris Bačvić. The band released their only studio album in 1996. In 1996, Vranić accompanied Sejo Sexon and Elvis J.
