Edvard Baghdasaryan
Edvard Baghdarsaryan ( hy, Էդուարդ Բաղդասարյան), also spelled as Eduard Baghdasarian (14 November 1922 – 5 November 1987) was an Armenian composer born in Yerevan.Soviet Armenian Encyclopedia, vol 2, p 253 He was named an Honored Art Worker of the Armenian SSR in 1963. Baghdasaryan graduated from the Yerevan State Conservatory where he double majored both in piano with Sarajev and in composition with Yeghiazaryan. Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan ( hy, Երևանի Կոմիտասի անվան պետական կոնսերվատորիա), also known as Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory (YKSC) or Yerevan State Conservatory (YSC), is a state-owned college of music located in Yerevan, Armenia. Romanos Melikian
Romanos Melikian ( hy, Ռոմանոս Հովակիմի Մելիքյան; October 1, 1883, Kizlyar – March 30, 1935, Yerevan) was an Armenian composer. He finished the Rostov Musical College, then the classes of Mikhail Ippolitov-Ivanov and B. Yavorsky. In 1914 he graduated from Saint Petersburg Conservatory. In 1908 he was among the organizers of "Music League" in Tiflis.
