Eduardo Gajardo
Eduardo Ivan Gajardo Meneses (born 1990) is a Chilean freestyle wrestler who competes at the 86 kg weight class. Career Gajardo had been training judo since he was 8 years-old and later transitioned to wrestling when he was 17. He had his first international competition in at the Pan American Championships of 2011, in which he placed 11th. Since then, he has competed in multiple internationals tournaments and has collected multiple medals in competitions such as the South American Games and the Pan American Championships. Rancagua () is a city and commune in central Chile and part of the Rancagua conurbation. 2019 Pan American Wrestling Championships
The 2019 Pan American Wrestling Championships was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from 19 to 21 April 2019. The top three countries in the 18 weight categories scheduled to be held at the 2019 Pan American Games (also in Lima) will qualify for the Pan American Games. If Peru has not qualified at the end of the 2019 Pan American Championships, the third spot available at the tournament will be awarded to Peru. The USA has become the first time in history that a team has won every gold in a freestyle style at the Pan Am Championships. Doncho Kolev Danev ( bg, Дончо Колев Данев) (26 December 1892 – 27 March 1940), better known by the ring name Dan Kolov ( bg, Дан Колов), was a Bulgarian professional wrestler and mixed martial artist born in Sennik, Bulgaria who was the first European freestyle wrestling champion from Bulgaria. He also won the European gold in 1936 in the championship in Paris, which was the second distinction for Bulgaria after the world title of Nikola Petrov (Greco-Roman wrestling) from 1900. Wrestling At The 2016 Summer Olympics – Qualification
This article details the qualifying phase for wrestling at the 2016 Summer Olympics. The competition at these Games comprised a total of 344 athletes coming from the different nations; each had been allowed to enter a maximum of 18 (1 per event). Four places had been reserved for the host nation Brazil, and four more for the Tripartite Commission to invite wrestlers. The remaining spots were allocated through the qualification process, wherein the athletes earn places for their respective nation. For each place obtained by the host country in the qualification phase, one of these three reserved places was allocated to the Tripartite Commission.
