''Eccomi'' (Italian for ''Here I Am'') is a studio album by Italian singer Patty Pravo, released in 2016 by Warner Music Group. Overview The album was produced by Michele Canova, with Massimo Levantini and Gaetano Puglisi as executive producers. The songs were written by Fortunato Zampaglione, Tiziano Ferro, Samuel Umberto Romano of Subsonica, and Giuliano Sangiorgi of Negramaro, among others. Two tracks feature guest appearances by Italian rappers Emis Killa and Fred De Palma. Pravo originally intended to release the album in autumn 2013, but the date was then pushed back to January 2014. The recording session, however, continued until late March 2015 and the release was then set for autumn 2015. ''Eccomi'' was eventually released in February 2016, coinciding with the 66th Sanremo Music Festival where the first single " Cieli immensi" placed at the 6th position and won the "Mia Martini" critics' award. Patty Pravo
Patty Pravo (born Nicoletta Strambelli on 9 April 1948) is an Italian singer. She debuted in 1966 and remained most successful commercially for the rest of the 1960s and throughout the 1970s. Having suffered a decline in popularity in the following decade, she experienced a career revival in the late 1990s and reinstated her position on Italian music charts. Her most popular songs include "La bambola" (1968), " Pazza idea" (1973), " Pensiero stupendo" (1978) and " ...E dimmi che non vuoi morire" (1997). She scored fourteen top 10 albums (including three number ones) and fourteen top 10 singles (including two number ones) in her native Italy. The Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana (FIMI) is an umbrella organization that keeps track of virtually all aspects of the music recording industry in Italy. It was established in 1992, when major corporate labels left the previously existing Associazione dei Fonografici Italiani (AFI). During the following years, most of the remaining Italian record labels left AFI to join the new organisation. As of 2011, FIMI represents 2,500 companies operating in the music business. FIMI is a member of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry and of the Italian employers' federation, Confindustria.
