Eastfield, North Yorkshire
Eastfield is a town and civil parish in North Yorkshire, England. It was often considered a suburb of the town of Scarborough, and is located next to the town's boundaries. It was granted town status in January 2016. According to the 2011 UK census, Eastfield parish had a population of 5,610, a reduction on the 2001 UK census figure of 5,863. The town council is Eastfield Town Council. The area has a mid-size Industrial Park (Olympian Trading Park), the rapidly expanding Scarborough Business Park, and Plaxton Park is on the outskirts of Eastfield. The area is the base for a number of large businesses, for example Plaxton, Raflatac, Unison, Cooplands and Dale Power Solutions. The largest factory in the vicinity is McCain Foods. Eastfield, Peterborough
Eastfield is a residential area of the city of Peterborough, in the Peterborough district, in the ceremonial county of Cambridgeshire, England. For electoral purposes it comprises part of Peterborough East ward, together with Fengate and Parnwell. In 2001 it had a resident population of 8,424. Of a total 3,824 households, 52.88% are owner occupied, compared to 66.30% in the Peterborough unitary authority area. Overview The Church of England parish of Saint Mary the Virgin was created by Order in Council on 1 September 1857. Mitcham Eastfields Railway Station
Mitcham Eastfields (initially known as Eastfields during planning and construction) is a railway station in London, United Kingdom, which opened on 2 June 2008. The station is located at Eastfields Road level crossing, in an area previously poorly served by public transport. The nearest station was Mitcham Junction, which along with Mitcham tram stop, was over from the district. It is in fare zone 3. History Proposals for the station have apparently existed since the 1930s. Planning permission was granted by the London Borough of Merton in August 2007. Construction started in October 2007. Following consultation, there were hopes to have the station open by December 2007. The opening was originally scheduled for 19 May 2008 but that date was subsequently put back because Network Rail did not feel the station would be ready until early June. Eastfield is a primarily residential district on the north eastern outskirts of Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. It lies between Joppa and the Edinburgh City boundary with Musselburgh. The district is bounded on the north by the Firth of Forth, on the west by Joppa and the main East Coast rail line, and on the south by farmland and the grounds of Newhailes House, a National Trust for Scotland property. Harthill, Scotland
Harthill is a rural village split between North Lanarkshire and West Lothian in Scotland, with most of the village in North Lanarkshire. It is located about halfway between Glasgow, to the west, and Edinburgh, to the east. It lies on the River Almond about west of the small town of Whitburn. The closest major towns are Bathgate, away, and Livingston, away. Major towns within North Lanarkshire, such as Wishaw, Airdrie, Motherwell, Coatbridge and Bellshill are all around to the west.
