Earshot
Earshot is an American alternative metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1999. The band's lineup has changed several times during their existence, with vocalist Wil Martin being the band's sole constant member. After signing to Warner Bros. Records, Earshot issued their debut album '' Letting Go'' (2002), which spawned the hit single "Get Away". The band's second album, ''Two'' (2004), also produced a hit single, "Wait". The band has since put out two more releases, '' The Silver Lining'' (2008), and the extended play ''Aftermath'' (2015). ''Two'' is the second album by American alternative metal band Earshot, released on June 22, 2004. The album would go on to spawn commercial success with the album's first single "Wait" being featured in multiple video games, the album's second single "Someone", as well as garnering significant radio airplay. Studio work on the album began in 2003 after extensive touring in 2002. ''Two'' reached #127 on the ''Billboard 200''. "Wait" became the album's lead single. Although it did not chart as well as the band's debut single "Get Away" from their '' Letting Go'' album, "Wait" is considered a breakthrough hit for the band and helped launch them into further mainstream success. ''Letting Go'' is alternative metal band Earshot's debut album, released on May 7, 2002. The songs "Get Away" and "Not Afraid" were released as singles during that year with each having their own music video. “Get Away” reached #4 on the U.S. Active Rock Charts and stayed in the top 100 for over 64 weeks. "Wait" is the lead single from Earshot's second album ''Two''. It reached #13 on the Mainstream Rock charts and #33 on the Modern Rock charts. Although it did not chart as well as the band's debut single "Get Away," "Wait" is considered a breakthrough hit for the band and helped launch them into further mainstream success. It was featured on the video game soundtracks to both ''Madden NFL 2005'' and ''MX vs. ATV Unleashed''. An alternate version was also included on the former soundtrack as The D.O.C. vs. Earshot - "The Madden Re-Match." The SnoCore Tour, occasionally typeset as Sno-Core, was an annual festival tour of the United States. It features performances by some of the most popular groups largely of the alternative rock and metal spectrum. Other than 2008 and 2016, the event has taken place every year since its inception in December 1995. SnoCore is marketed towards the winter sports culture.
