SnoCore Tour
The SnoCore Tour, occasionally typeset as Sno-Core, was an annual festival tour of the United States. It featured performances by some of the most popular groups largely of the alternative rock and metal spectrum. The event took place every year since its inception in December 1995 until 2015 (with the exception of 2008). SnoCore was marketed towards the winter sports culture. History John Boyle, Eric Lochtefeld and Rick Bonde established SnoCore as an entertainment opportunity for fans during the year's slow point in live music, the winter season. Originally began as a mini tour in December 1995 headlined by Sublime, it would also serve as an excuse for bands to perform for Western mountain resort towns and go snowboarding. Warped Tour
The Warped Tour is a Concert tour, touring Rock music, rock music festival that toured the United States and Canada each summer from 1995 until 2019, and returned in 2025 for its 30th anniversary. By 2015, Warped was the largest traveling music festival in the United States and the longest-running touring music festival in North America. Internationally, the festival stopped in Australia from 1998–2002 and again in 2013, as well as the United Kingdom in 2012 and 2015. Following the first Warped Tour, the skateboard shoe manufacturer Vans became the festival's title sponsor, when it then became known as the Vans Warped Tour. Joseph Scott Sappington (born May 3, 1972) is an American musician, best known as the former lead vocalist of the rock band Saliva. In addition to Saliva, Scott co-wrote and performed "Hero" (which was used as one of the theme songs to the 2002 film ''Spider-Man'') with Chad Kroeger of Nickelback. Saliva (band)
Saliva is an American rock band formed in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1996. During their career they have been nominated for 6 Grammys and have won one MTV award. Their album Every Six Seconds was certified gold in 2001. They were signed to Island Records and went on to release their second studio album '' Every Six Seconds''. Saliva later released their third studio album titled '' Back into Your System'' in 2002, which reached No. 19 on the Billboard 200. One Cold Night
''One Cold Night'' is a live album by South African rock band Seether. It was released on 11 July 2006 and features twelve acoustic tracks, plus bonus DVD footage, recorded in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the Grape Street Club, on 22 February 2006. The album comprises live acoustic renditions of songs from the band's '' Fragile'', ''Disclaimer'', and ''Karma and Effect'' albums, a cover song, and a remixed version of " The Gift". Track listing Notes The songs "Needles" and "Burrito" from this show were used as iTunes bonus tracks, because the record company did not want profanity on the retail version of the album. Acoustic Music
Acoustic music is music that solely or primarily uses instruments that produce sound through acoustic means, as opposed to electric or electronic means. While all music was once acoustic, the retronym "acoustic music" appeared after the advent of electric instruments, such as the electric guitar, electric violin, electric organ and synthesizer. Acoustic string instrumentations had long been a subset of popular music, particularly in folk. It stood in contrast to various other types of music in various eras, including big band music in the pre-rock era, and electric music in the rock era. Shaun Morgan Welgemoed (, born 21 December 1978) is a South African musician. He is the lead singer, songwriter, and rhythm guitarist for the rock band Seether. Seether
Seether are a South African Rock music, rock band founded in 1999 in Pretoria, Gauteng. The band originally performed under the name Saron Gas until 2002, when they moved to the United States and changed it to Seether to avoid confusion with the deadly chemical known as sarin, sarin gas. Lead vocalist and guitarist Shaun Morgan is the band's longest serving member, bassist Dale Stewart joined shortly after formation while drummer John Humphrey (drummer), John Humphrey joined them for the band's second album. Funk
Funk is a music genre that originated in African-American communities in the mid-1960s when musicians created a rhythmic, danceable new form of music through a mixture of various music genres that were popular among African-Americans in the mid-20th century.
