Ivy Queen
Martha Ivelisse Pesante Rodríguez (born March 4, 1972), known professionally as Ivy Queen, is a Puerto Rican singer, rapper, songwriter, and actress. She is considered one of the pioneers of the reggaeton genre, commonly referred to as the Queen of Reggaeton. Ivy Queen began her career as a member of the all-male collective The Noise in San Juan, Puerto Rico. There, she performed her first song "Somos Raperos Pero No Delincuentes" ''(We are Rappers, Not Delinquents)''. Ivy Queen went solo in 1996, and released her debut studio album '' En Mi Imperio (In My Empire)'' which was quickly picked up by Sony Discos for distribution in 1997. Sony Music Entertainment US Latin LLC (often referred to as Sony Music Latin) is a record label owned by Sony Music. The label focuses on artists of Latin music. History In 1979, CBS Records (now Columbia Records) ended its partnership with Caytronics after eleven years of distribution. ''Vendetta: The Project'' ''(English: Revenge: The Project)'', also known simply as ''Vendetta'', is the ninth studio album by Puerto Rican reggaetón singer-songwriter Ivy Queen, released on 3 February 2015. An extended play version of the album was released on 9 December 2014. The studio album version was originally announced for a release in February 2014, and later some time in 2014. The extended play version of the album, entitled '' Vendetta: First Round'', includes the first four singles from the album: "Soy Libre", "Vamos A Guerrear", "Naci Para Amarte", and the title track "Vendetta", on disc one. It was released through Siente Music on August 21, 2012 in all formats. Machete Music
Machete Music is an urban music label owned by Universal Music Group. The record label had been largely associated with reggaeton music, but in recent years, it has been also been signing non-reggaeton artists such as Malverde, Mala Rodriguez and Chino XL. The label is part of Universal Music Latin Entertainment. Machete Music is one of the most prevalent labels in the Reggaeton genre. ''Sentimiento'' (English: ''Feeling'') is the sixth studio album by Puerto Rican recording artist Ivy Queen. It was released on March 27, 2007 by Univision Records. The album features production collaborations with several Puerto Rican music producers including Monserrate & DJ Urba, Noriega, and Luny Tunes. It also features vocal collaborations with Don Omar, Arcángel, Tito "El Bambino", Ken-Y, Randy and Naldo.
