''Eye of the Soundscape'' is a compilation album by Polish progressive rock band Riverside, released on 21 October 2016 through InsideOut Music. Background The album is a collection of older experimental instrumental pieces in addition to four new tracks: "Where the River Flows", "Shine" (released in Poland as the only single), "Sleepwalkers" and "Eye of the Soundscape". It is the first, and only, posthumous album to feature guitarist Piotr Grudziński after his death on 21 February 2016. Michał Krzysztof Łapaj (born 3 March 1982 in Warsaw) is a Polish keyboardist best known as a member of the progressive rock-metal band Riverside, with whom he released six albums. Łapaj was also a guest on several albums, including Lunatic Soul ''Lunatic Soul'' (2008), Antigama's ''Meteor'' (2013) and Behemoth's ''The Satanist'' (2013), providing keyboards and Hammond organs. Electric Piano
An electric piano is a musical instrument which produces sounds when a performer presses the keys of a piano-style musical keyboard. Pressing keys causes mechanical hammers to strike metal strings, metal reeds or wire tines, leading to vibrations which are converted into electrical signals by magnetic pickups, which are then connected to an instrument amplifier and loudspeaker to make a sound loud enough for the performer and audience to hear. Unlike a synthesizer, the electric piano is not an electronic instrument. Instead, it is an electro-mechanical instrument. Some early electric pianos used lengths of wire to produce the tone, like a traditional piano. ''Shrine of New Generation Slaves'' is the fifth studio album by Polish progressive rock band Riverside. The album was released on 18 January 2013 in Poland, 21 January in the rest of Europe and 5 February in the USA. It is available in four different formats: digital, 1CD jewelcase, 2CDs mediabook, and 2LP vinyl. The latter two contain two bonus tracks. The author of the art booklets is, as is the case with all the previous albums, Travis Smith. The first single, "Celebrity Touch", was released on 17 December 2012 and a videoclip for the song, directed by Mateusz Winkiel, was released on 14 January 2013.
