Exter (Vlotho)
Exter is a suburb of the town Vlotho in the district of Herford, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Exter has a population of just over 3,000 (June 2007) and makes up the westernmost part of the town Vlotho. Location Exter borders on Herford in the west, Löhne and Bad Oeynhausen (both Minden-Lübbecke district) in the north, the suburb Valdorf of Vlotho in the east, and Bad Salzuflen (Lippe district) in the south. Bundesautobahn 2 goes through the village. The highest point is the Steinegge at 255.5 m, the lowest point is at Hagenmühle at 99.6 m. Exter (Weser)
Exter is a long river in Lower Saxony ( district Schaumburg) and North Rhine-Westphalia ( district Lippe), Germany. It flows into the Weser in Rinteln. History The river arises from the eastern part of the district Lippe in the Teutoburg Forest / Egge Hills Nature Park. Its origin is in the municipality Barntrup, approximately one kilometre southwest of the northern district Alverdissen's centre, in an area used for agriculture. It gave its name the municipality of Extertal (lit. ''Exter valley'') that was founded newly in 1969. Extince
Peter Kops (born 1967), known professionally as Extince (also known as "Exter-O-naldus" or "De Exter"), is one of the first Dutch language rappers, or Dutch Hip-Hoppers to achieve a top-40 hit in the mainstream Dutch music charts. His hit song "Spraakwater" rose into the top-ten, and was a historic breakthrough for Dutch-language rap & hip-hop – even more than for the artist himself. Extince was born as Peter Kops in Oosterhout, Netherlands. One of his biggest musical influences as a child was Creedence Clearwater Revival. Overview His first successful song, "The Milkshake Rap", was written completely in the English language. His first song in Dutch, "Spraakwater", was an immediate hit upon its release in 1995.
