Expressway S7 (Poland)
Expressway S7 or express road S7 ( pl, Droga ekspresowa S7) is a major road in Poland which has been planned to run from Gdańsk on the Baltic coast through Elbląg, Warsaw, Radom, Kielce and Kraków to Rabka near the border with Slovakia. On almost the entire route, the S7 will be built by upgrading the existing National Road 7 (DK 7). Its total planned length is , of which has been built and a further is under construction in December 2019. The upgrade is part of a European plan to fund 330 kilometers of new express roads in Poland. As of August 2022, the longest stretch of this road that has been completed is a long section between Gdańsk and the village of Siedlin (59 km (37 mi) north-west of Warsaw). According to current government plans, the road is to be completed by 2026, with the exception of Kraków - Myślenice section (25 km) where the existing dual carriageway national road 7 will serve the traffic until S7 is constructed in unspecified future. Kraków
Kraków (), or Cracow, is the second-largest and one of the oldest cities in Poland. Situated on the Vistula River in Lesser Poland Voivodeship, the city dates back to the seventh century. Autostrada A4 (Poland)
The A4 autostrada in Poland is a long east–west motorway that runs through southern Poland, along the north side the Sudetes and Carpathian Mountains, from the Polish-German border at Zgorzelec- Görlitz (connecting to the A4 autobahn), through Wrocław, Opole, Gliwice, Katowice, Kraków, Tarnów and Rzeszów, to the Polish-Ukrainian border at Korczowa-Krakovets (connecting to the M10). It is a part of European route E40. The motorway between Wrocław and Kraków () was constructed between 1976 and 2005. Most of this part is tolled (see Tolls on Polish highways for details). The section from the German border to Wrocław (, not tolled) was constructed between 2002 and 2009, in large part as the repaving of the old concrete motorway constructed from 1933 to 1937 (then the territory of Nazi Germany). Kielce
Kielce (, yi, קעלץ, Keltz) is a city in southern Poland, and the capital of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. In 2021, it had 192,468 inhabitants. The city is in the middle of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains (Holy Cross Mountains), on the banks of the Silnica River, in the northern part of the historical Polish province of Lesser Poland. Kielce has a history back over 900 years, and the exact date that it was founded remains unknown. Kielce was once an important centre of limestone mining and the vicinity is famous for its natural resources like copper, lead and iron, which, over the centuries, were exploited on a large scale. Expressway S74 (Poland)
Expressway S74 or express road S74 is major planned road in Poland connecting Expressway S12 (Poland), express road S12 near Sulejów and Expressway S19 (Poland), S19 near Nisko. From Opatów it is going to follow the current National roads in Poland#List of national roads, national road 74 toward Lipnik, Bielsko-Biała, Lipnik (where it's going to cross National roads in Poland#List of national roads, national road 9) and further is going to follow National roads in Poland#List of national roads, national road 77 toward Expressway S19 (Poland), express road S19 near Nisko. Most of this road is still in planning stages and the exact route has not been established. The construction of the first long section near Kielce began in May 2009, and was finished in December 2011. Radom
Radom is a city in east-central Poland, located approximately south of the capital, Warsaw. It is situated on the Mleczna River in the Masovian Voivodeship (since 1999), having previously been the seat of a separate Radom Voivodeship (1975–1998). Radom is the fourteenth-largest city in Poland and the second-largest in its province with a population of 206,946 as of 2021. For centuries, Radom was part of the Sandomierz Province of the Kingdom of Poland and the later Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. Expressway S12 or express road S12 (in Polish ''droga ekspresowa S12'') is a major road in Poland which has been planned to run from Piotrków Trybunalski, through Radom, Lublin and Chełm, to the border crossing with Ukraine at Dorohusk. The completed road should be about long. As of Summer 2018 the portion open to traffic runs from Puławy to Lublin.
