Ewerthon
Ewerthon Henrique de Souza (born 10 June 1981) is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a centre forward or right winger. He was best known for his pace, trickery and long shots, and played for clubs in Brazil, Germany, Spain, Russia and Qatar. He made seven appearances for the Brazil national team and was selected for the 2001 Copa América and the 2003 CONCACAF Gold Cup, finishing as runner-up in the latter. Three years after his retirement, The Versed wrote a report in 2017 about Ewerthon: "he was a forgotten entity on the continent, but for a while at the start of the millennium, he looked destined for the top. Sadly, as is the case with a fair number of South American migrants, he faded into footballing obscurity". Real Zaragoza, S.A.D. The 2003 CONCACAF Gold Cup was the seventh edition of the Gold Cup, the association football championship of North America, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF). For the first time since 1993, the tournament was held in more than one country, with games played in both United States and Mexico. The games were played in Mexico City, Miami, and for the first time in a northern U.S. city, Foxborough. Matthias Sammer (; born 5 September 1967) is a German football official and former player and coach. He played as a defensive midfielder and later in his career as a sweeper. With Borussia Dortmund as a player, Sammer won the Bundesliga and DFL-Supercup in 1995, the Bundesliga, DFL-Supercup, and European Footballer of the Year in 1996, and the UEFA Champions League and Intercontinental Cup in 1997. Jan Koller (; born 30 March 1973) is a Czech former professional footballer who played as a striker. He was noted for his height, strong physique, and heading ability.
