''Everyone You Ever Knew (Is Coming Back to Haunt You)'' is the fifth solo studio album from Australian singer/songwriter Lo Carmen. It was released on 31 October 2015, by Chiquita Records. It was recorded at Linear Studios in Sydney by Wade Keighran and features musicians from Australian bands The Cruel Sea, The Holy Soul and the Mess Hall. Carmen previewed the album in solo showcases at SxSW 2015 but did not tour it. Lo Carmen
Lo Carmen (also known by her full name Loene Carmen prior to 2012) is an Australian singer-songwriter, musician, author and actress. Carmen has independently released seven solo albums in the Americana alt-country indie rock vein. In February 2022 her memoir ''Lovers Dreamers Fighters'' was published by HarperCollins. She has described the book as ‘more a cultural history than a memoir … It’s more a kind of love letter to all the musicians and women that have inspired me.’ Early life and career Carmen was born in Adelaide, South Australia, and raised amongst its 1970s music and art community. She is the daughter of rock-jazz-blues pianist Peter Head, founder of The Mount Lofty Rangers, and has a brother Josh Beagley, a guitarist, most notably with funk band Swoop. Aden Young (born 30 November 1971) is a Canadian-Australian actor. Jutta Hipp
Jutta Hipp (February 4, 1925 – April 7, 2003) was a jazz pianist and composer. Born in Leipzig during the Weimar Republic, Hipp initially listened to jazz in secret, as it was not approved of by the Nazi authorities. After World War II, she became a refugee, often lacking food and other necessities. By the early 1950s, she was a touring pianist and soon led her own bands. Critic Leonard Feather heard Hipp perform in Germany in 1954, recorded her, and organized her move to the United States the following year. Club and festival appearances soon followed, as did album releases. For reasons that are unclear, Hipp's last recording was in 1956. She started working in a clothing factory, and ultimately cut herself off from the music world. She remained in the United States, and worked for the clothing company for 35 years. SxSW
South by Southwest, abbreviated as SXSW and colloquially referred to as South By, is an annual conglomeration of parallel film, interactive media, and music festivals and conferences organized jointly that take place in mid-March in Austin, Texas, United States. The Cruel Sea are an Australian indie rock band from Sydney, New South Wales formed in late 1987. Originally an instrumental-only band, they became more popular when fronted by vocalist Tex Perkins (Beasts of Bourbon and solo) in addition to Jim Elliott on drums, Ken Gormly on bass guitar, Dan Rumour on guitar and James Cruickshank on guitar and keyboards. Wade Keighran
Wade Keighran (born 1 August 1984) is an Australian rock musician, songwriter, audio engineer and record producer currently based in Sydney. He started his career playing guitar in punk band Taking Sides, was the bass player and co-songwriter with The Scare and is currently writing and playing bass for Wolf & Cub. Keighran has also appeared live as bass player with Jack Ladder, Steve Smythe and Hunter Dienna. It was released on 9 November 2017, by Chiquita Records, on limited edition translucent blue vinyl and digital platforms. It was recorded at the studios "Butcher Shoppe" & "Welcome to 1979" in Nashville, Tennessee in sessions over 2016 and 2017.
