Eva Zeller
Eva Zeller (25 January 1923 – 5 September 2022) was a German poet and novelist. Zeller was born in Eberswalde, Province of Brandenburg on 25 January 1923. She lived in the former East Germany until 1956, then lived for six years in Namibia, before returning to Germany. Zeller was also credited as one of the authors of the text on the 1970 experimental music album, ''Klopfzeichen'', by the Berlin-based trio Kluster. Eberswalde
Eberswalde () is a major town and the administrative seat of the district Barnim in the German State ( Bundesland / ''federated state'') of Brandenburg, about 50 km northeast of Berlin. Population 42,144 (census in June 2005), geographical location . The town is often called Waldstadt (forest town), because of the large forests around it, including the Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve. ''Klopfzeichen'' is the debut full-length album by German experimental music trio Kluster. ''Klopfzeichen'' was recorded on 21 December 1969 at Rhenus-Studio, Gordorf, Germany. Liner notes on the CD reissue on the Hypnotic label as well as some websites place the recording date precisely one year later in 1970. This is incorrect as it would place the recording after the initial release date. In addition Kluster founder Conrad Schnitzler states in interviews that the recordings took place during the same period as the first Tangerine Dream album, ''Electronic Meditation'', which occurred in late 1969. Kluster
Kluster was a Berlin-based German experimental musical group formed in 1969 by Hans-Joachim Roedelius, Conrad Schnitzler, and Dieter Moebius. Their improvisational work presaged later industrial music. The original Kluster was short-lived, existing only from 1969 until mid-1971 when Conrad Schnitzler left and the remaining two members renamed themselves Cluster. Schnitzler later revived the band from 1971 to 1973 and then from 2007 until his death in 2011.
