Eusebio Ríos Fernández (30 March 1935 – 10 May 2008) was a Spanish football defender and manager. Playing career Born in Portugalete, Biscay, Ríos started his career in his native Basque Country, representing two teams. Portugalete
Portugalete is a town lying to the west of Bilbao in the province of Biscay in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country, northern Spain. The town has 45,294 inhabitants as of 2021 and is part of Bilbao's metropolitan area. It is located at the mouth of the Estuary of Bilbao, on the left bank. The 1977–78 Segunda División season saw 20 teams participate in the second flight Spanish league. Real Zaragoza, Recreativo de Huelva and Celta de Vigo were promoted to Primera División. Real Oviedo, Córdoba CF, CD Tenerife and CF Calvo Sotelo were relegated to Segunda División B. From this season, immediately below Segunda División there is a new league Segunda División B.
