Dəmirçi, Nakhchivan
Dəmirçi () is a village in the Sadarak District of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Azerbaijan. It is located in the near of the Nakhchivan-Sadarak highway, 11 km in the north-west from the district center, on the Sharur plain. Its population is busy with grain-growing, vegetable-growing, beet-growing and animal husbandry. There are two secondary schools, cultural house, library, kindergarten, hospital and a "''Binamaz Əhməd''" sacred place of 18th century in the village. It has a population of 5,092. It is the closest settlement to Azerbaijan's only crossing point to Turkey, an important lifeline for the Nakhchivan exclave after the closure of the Armenian border following the First Nagorno-Karabakh War. Urfa, officially known as Şanlıurfa () and in ancient times as Edessa, is a city in southeastern Turkey and the capital of Şanlıurfa Province. Siverek (from hy, Սեւավերակ, lit=black ruins, translit=Sevaverag, ku, Sêwreg) is a city and district in the south-east of Turkey, in Şanlıurfa Province. Population 107,634 (city); 247,000 (district) (2000 census). Siverek is in Şanlıurfa province but closer geographically to the large city of Diyarbakır (approx 83 km). Diyarbakır (; ; ; ) is the largest Kurdish-majority city in Turkey. It is the administrative center of Diyarbakır Province. Bitlis
Bitlis ( hy, Բաղեշ '; ku, Bidlîs; ota, بتليس) is a city in southeastern Turkey and the capital of Bitlis Province. The city is located at an elevation of 1,545 metres, 15 km from Lake Van, in the steep-sided valley of the Bitlis River, a tributary of the Tigris. The local economy is mainly based on agricultural products which include fruits, grain and tobacco. Industry is fairly limited, and deals mainly with leatherworking, manufacture of tobacco products as well as weaving and dyeing of coarse cloth. Bitlis is connected to other urban centres by road, including Tatvan on Lake Van, 25 km to the northeast, and the cities of Muş (Mush), 100 km northwest, and Diyarbakır, 200 km to the west. Tatvan
Tatvan ( ) is a city on the western shore of Lake Van. It is the chief city of Tatvan District within Bitlis Province in eastern Turkey, and has about 96,000 inhabitants. The current Mayor is Mehmet Emin Geylani ( AKP). The district is fully Kurdish. History The citadel at Eski Tatvan possibly dates back to the Urartian period; it was used until at least the 17th century. Sayf al-Dawla, the Hamdanid emir of Aleppo, visited Tatvan in 939/40; while he was here, he received the submission of the Armenian prince Ashot III of Taron. The town was historically a stage on the route from Van to Bitlis. By the 20th century, though, Tatvan had dwindled to a mere village, little more than "a cluster of houses by a jetty". Muradiye ( ku, Bêgirî, hy, Բերկրի, translit=Berkri) is a town and district in the Van Province of Turkey. History The tenth-century Byzantine text ''De Administrando Imperio'' mentions "Perkri" belonging to King Ashot I Bagratuni at the beginning of the ninth century before being turned over to an Arab ruler, Abu'l-Ward. After the death of Ashot's son, Smbat I, another Arab ruler, Abu Sawada, took possession of Berkri.
