Eurocom
Eurocom (formerly Eurocom Entertainment Software) was a British video game developer founded in October 1988 by Mat Sneap, Chris Shrigley, Hugh Binns, Tim Rogers and Neil Baldwin, to specifically develop games for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Eurocom expanded to several other platforms, including Handheld game console, handheld game systems and most major video game consoles. The company was known for its Arcade game, arcade to console ports and games based on licensed properties. Sphinx And The Cursed Mummy
''Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy'' is an action-adventure video game inspired by the mythology of Ancient Egypt for GameCube, PlayStation 2 and Xbox. The game was developed by Eurocom and published by THQ. Nordic Games acquired THQ in 2014 and formed THQ Nordic, as a result, a remastered version of the game was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, macOS and Linux on November 10, 2017. A physical Nintendo Switch version with several enhancements was released on January 29, 2019. In ''Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy'', the player falls into the role of a demigod, Sphinx, and the undead corpse of Tutankhamen. ''40 Winks'' is a platform video game developed by Eurocom Entertainment Software and published by GT Interactive for the PlayStation. A version was developed for the Nintendo 64, and reviewed in both ''Nintendo Official Magazine UK'' and ''Nintendo Power'' (whose January 2000 issue even featured a strategy guide for the game), but was cancelled soon before release. On 12 February 2018, Piko Interactive launched a Kickstarter campaign confirming that the unreleased Nintendo 64 version would be released, and also a Microsoft Windows version through Steam. ''Cruis'n World'' is the 1996 sequel to the 1994 arcade racer ''Cruis'n USA''. ''Cruis'n World'' allows players to race on various tracks around the world. The game also features more cars than ''Cruis'n USA''. This game introduced stunts to the ''Cruis'n'' series. They served to dodge obstacles, take close curves and so. If the stunt makes the vehicle fly in the air, the game gives the player extra seconds of time. The game also uses small rocket boosts to speed up.
