Mother Mother
Mother Mother is a Canadian indie rock band based in Quadra Island, British Columbia. The band consists of Ryan Guldemond on guitar and vocals, Molly Guldemond and Jasmin Parkin on vocals and keyboard, Ali Siadat on drums, and Mike Young on bass. Longtime bassist Jeremy Page left the band in 2016. In 2005, they independently released their self-titled debut album under the band name Mother. They later changed their name to Mother Mother, and re-released the album on Last Gang Records in 2007. Retitled '' Touch Up'', the reissue also featured several new songs. Ryan Guldemond (born November 24, 1986),Fellow Mother Mother bandmate Jasmin Parkin's Instagram post: is the lead vocalist, songwriter and guitarist of the Canadian indie rock band Mother Mother, which he formed on Quadra Island, British Columbia with his sister Molly Guldemond (on vocals and keyboard). Early life Guldemond grew up in Quadra Island in British Columbia, with sister and bandmate, Molly. The siblings did not play together in their youth, only deciding to start a band as adults. Guldemond has described working through issues with substance abuse and has noted that in the past these issues have negatively impacted his relationship with Molly, though their relationship has strengthened post-sobriety. The Canadian Hot 100 is a music industry record chart in Canada for songs, published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine. Indie rock is a Music subgenre, subgenre of rock music that originated in the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand from the 1970s to the 1980s.
