Eugeneson Lyngdoh
Eugeneson Lyngdoh (born 10 September 1986) is a member of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly representing the Mawphlang constituency. He is also a former Indian footballer who lastly played as a midfielder for Indian Super League side East Bengal. Early life Lyngdoh was pursuing a degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, however he abandoned it in the third year to focus on football. Club career Shillong Lajong Lyngdoh signed for Shillong Lajong in 2011 from Rangdajied United, who were then known as Ar-Hima, for whom he was the captain in the last season. He finished as the top scorer for Lajong during the 2011-12 I-League scoring 4 times. He then went on to make 23 I-League appearances for Lajong during the 2012-13 I-League season. Shillong
Shillong () is a hill station and the capital of Meghalaya, a Indian state, state in northeastern India, which means "The Abode of Clouds". It is the headquarters of the East Khasi Hills district. Sporting Clube de Goa, simply known as Sporting Goa (also known by its abbreviation SCG), is an Indian professional football club based in Panaji, in the Indian state of Goa, that competes in Goa Professional League. The 2014 Durand Cup was the 127th season of the Durand Cup, the third oldest football tournament in the world, which is a knock-out competition held in India. Mohammedan were the defending champions, having beaten ONGC 2–1 in the 2013 Final, but were knocked out in the quarter finals. The tournament was held from 20 October to 8 November with all matches in Goa. Salgaocar won the cup when they defeated Pune 1–0 in the final. The Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan (VYBK; ), commonly known as the Salt Lake Stadium, is an all-seater multi-purpose stadium located in Bidhannagar, with current capacity of 85,000 spectators.
