Euclid University
EUCLID, also called ''Pôle Universitaire Euclide'' or Euclid University, is an international intergovernmental organization with a university charter established in 2008. It has official headquarters in The Gambia and in the Central African Republic, but also maintains an executive office in Washington, D.C. Its primary mandate is to train officials for its Participating States but its programs are also offered to the general public. The institution's current Secretary-General is Winston Dookeran. History EUCLID's origins are connected with the creation of a group of universities called "Euclid Consortium" by the University of Bangui and the University of N'Djamena in 2006. Girlyn Miguel
Girlyn Miguel (born 1948) is a Vincentian educator and politician who served in the Parliament of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines from 1998 until 2015. A member of the Unity Labour Party, Miguel also served as Deputy Prime Minister from 2010 to 2015, becoming the first woman to hold the position. Early life and career Miguel was born in 1948 in Mesopotamia on the island of Saint Vincent, then a colony within the British Windward Islands. She graduated from the St. Joseph’s Convent School in Kingstown in 1967, and began teaching at the government school in Richland Park later that year. In 1970, Miguel received her teaching certificate from the St. Vincent Teachers College, and the following year, she was also granted a Canadian teaching certificate. Mamadou Tangara
Mamadou Tangara (born 4 June 1965) is a Gambian diplomat and politician who has served as Minister of Foreign Affairs since 2018, having previously served in 2012 and from 2010–2012. Tangara also served as Gambian Permanent Representative to the United Nations from 2017–2018 and from 2013–2016. Early life and education Tangara was born in Banjul in 1965. He completed two master's degrees, at the University of Limoges in France and the University of Louvain (UCLouvain) in Belgium. He went on to complete a PhD in social sciences from the University of Limoges also. Early career Tangara was editor-in-chief of ''La Lune'', a magazine published in French aimed at French learners. Mohamed Toihiri (born 20 August 1955) was the Permanent Representative to the United Nations for Comoros, (also accredited as ambassador to the United States, Canada and Cuba) between 2007 and 2012. Outside of his ambassadorship, Toihiri is known as Comoros's first published author. Education Toihiri attended the University of Bordeaux III, France from 1977 to 1979. Abdoulaye Diagne-Faye (born 26 February 1978), known as Abdoulaye Faye, is a Senegalese former footballer who played as a defender. Faye began his career playing for ASEC Ndiambour and Jeanne d'Arc in his native Senegal before moving to French side Lens in 2002.
