Ethir Kaatru
''Ethir Kaatru'' () is a 1990 Indian Tamil-language thriller film, directed by Muktha S. Sundar and produced by Muktha Srinivasan. The film stars Karthik and Kanaka. It was released on 7 December 1990. The film is based on the Malayalam film ''Artham'', which is in turn based on the Tamil novel ''Ethir Kaatru'', written by GopuBabu. Plot Ram Narendran ( Karthik), a rich orphan youth, decides to put an end to his life. Waiting in the railway track, he sees another man there who tries to jump on the railway track and Ram Narendran saves him. This person is Jana (Anand Babu), he lives with his parents (Ra. Sankaran and M. N. Rajam) and his little sister Geetha (Chithra). Jana was a jobless youth and he got a job as a manager in a chit fund company with Madhavan's help (a family friend) and paid a big amount to join the company. Vennira Aadai Moorthy (born 25 July 1936) is an Indian actor and comedian in Tamil cinema. He has starred in many Tamil films and television serials as a comedian and also played supporting roles. He is a lawyer by education, and holds a B.L. degree in addition to a PhD in astrology. He is married to actress Manimala who played Suhasini's mother in '' Sindhu Bhairavi'' and the heroine in ''Vallavanukku Vallavan'' (1965). He is also a well known script-writer. Arunmozhi ( ta, அருண்மொழி) (also called Napoleon Selvaraj) (born 1951) is an Indian playback singer and well-known flutist. He has sung songs composed by leading Indian film industry music directors, including Ilaiyaraaja, Shankar Ganesh, Deva, S. A. Rajkumar, Viji Manuel, Swararaj, Harris Jayaraj, Sirpy, Vidyasagar, Soundaryan, Karthik Raja, Siva, Masa, Dhina and Yuvan Shankar Raja. He has also performed in live concerts across the world. Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood. After a few years, Chattu Nair married Ammalu in an arranged marriage. Vasudevan was born on 15 June 1944 as their eighth and youngest child. Even though he was a Malayali, as was the case with the majority of contemporary South Indian migrants to Malaya then, his surroundings in Malaysia was dominated by the Tamil language and culture.
