Eternal Lord (EP)
Eternal Lord was an English deathcore band that formed in 2005 and disbanded in 2008. History Eternal Lord was formed in 2005 by former members of The Hunt for Ida Wave and Burning Skies. In 2006 the band issued their debut EP, which featured original vocalist Sam Ricketts. He subsequently left the band in 2007 to pursue a different career path and was replaced by former The Hunt for Ida Wave and I Killed The Prom Queen vocalist Ed Butcher. Throughout April 2007 they toured with All That Remains on their "The Fall Of Ideals European Tour 2007" alongside Textures and Misery Signals. Eternal Lord's debut album ''Blessed Be This Nightmare,'' was released throughout the UK and Europe in March 2008 via Golf Records and in the US via Ferret Music. The album was written by Butcher and Gregory. The Acacia Strain is an American metalcore band originally from Chicopee, Massachusetts. They are currently signed to Rise Records. The band has released ten full-length albums. History Forming in 2001, The Acacia Strain was started by high school friends Vincent Bennett, Christopher Daniele, and Ben Abert. Looking to bring their current band Septic Orgasm to the next level of technicality, they brought in their mutual friend, Karrie Whitfield, and high school student Daniel "DL" Laskiewicz to play bass and guitar respectively. The band began playing local shows around Massachusetts and recorded their demo in 2001. Deathcore is an extreme metal subgenre that combines death metal with metalcore. The genre consists of death metal guitar riffs, blast beats, and metalcore breakdowns.
