Eszter Mátéfi
Eszter Mátéfi (born Eszter László; 14 February 1966 in Band, Magyar Autonomous Region, SR Romania) is a handball coach and former handball player. Career Mátéfi, an ethnic Hungarian from Transylvania, began her career by CSS Târgu Mureş, from where she also made to the Romanian national selection and later became the captain of the team. Her best results with Romania were a fourth place in the 1989 World Championship and a fifth place on the World event three years earlier. Following the cessation of her club, the left back moved to Hungary in January 1992, having signed by Debrecen. From 1993 to 1997 Mátéfi played for Győri ETO KC. In 1995 she obtained the Hungarian citizenship thus became eligible to get picked for the Hungarian national team, and Mátéfi won the silver medal right on her first major tournament, the 1995 World Championship. Team Handball
Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of , with a goal in the middle of each end. The goals are surrounded by a zone where only the defending goalkeeper is allowed; goals must be scored by throwing the ball from outside the zone or while "diving" into it. The Hungarian Handballer of the Year award is an annual prize, which is given to the Hungarian handballer who is considered to have performed the best over the previous calendar year. The Nemzeti Bajnokság (, "National Championship"), also known as NB I, is the top level of the Hungarian football league system. The league is officially named OTP Bank Liga after its title sponsor OTP Bank. UEFA currently ranks the league 28th in Europe. Twelve teams compete in the league, playing each other three times, once at home, once away, and the third match is played at the stadium that the last match was not played at. At the end of the season, the top team enters the qualification for the UEFA Champions League, while the runner-up and the third place, together with the winner of the Magyar Kupa enter the UEFA Europa Conference League qualification rounds. Zdravko Zovko
Zdravko Zovko (born 28 May 1955) is a retired Croatian handball player. Career Zovko spent his entire playing career in RK Medveščak from Zagreb and in Syracuse, Sicily, for C.C. Ortigia. He won three Yugoslav Cups with the club and during his last season at the club got to the semi-finals of the EHF Cup Winners' Cup. In Italy he won three italian championship in a row. Zovko competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics, representing Yugoslavia. He played in six matches and contributed with five goals to win the gold medal. Apart for winning the Olympic gold Zovko won a silver and bronze medal for Yugoslavia at the 1982 & 1974 World Championships. As a manager he has coached RK Zagreb, KC Veszprém and RK Podravka, before joining Zvezda Zvenigorod in May 2011. Beáta Bohus
Beáta Bohus (born 25 April 1971 in Békéscsaba) is a former Hungarian handball player and handball coach. Currently she is the head coach of the Hungarian women's national youth handball team. Playing career Club Bohus started to play professional handball for her hometown club Békéscsabai Előre NKSE. During her spell at the ''Purples'', she has won a bronze medal yet in 1992. The talented line player signed to the strengthening Dunaferr in 1997 and thus become part of one of the most successful teams in the handball history. With the Dunaújváros-based team she has won the EHF Cup in 1998, the EHF Champions League in 1999 and also collected the EHF Champions Trophy in that year. In additionm she has won five Hungarian championship and as many Hungarian Cup titles.
