Luziânia is municipality in the state of Goiás, Brazil. This city is a producer of agricultural products including soybeans and beans. Location Luziânia is located 68 km south of Brasília and is part of the area, called Entorno do Distrito Federal. History Founded in 1926, with the name of ''AA Luziana'' because the town was called Santa Luzia, having changed his name in 1945 for Luziânia and the club became known as Associação Atlética Luziânia. The main curiosity about the Club is their affiliation to the Football Association of Federal District, and not the Football Association of Goiás state.
