Esther De Lange (cricketer)
Esther Laura Talitha de Lange (born 18 February 1984) is a former Dutch international cricketer. She played for the Netherlands women's national cricket team from 2005 to 2016. She played as a right-arm off spin bowler and was national captain in 2015 and 2016. In cricket, a player's bowling average is the number of runs they have conceded per wicket taken. The lower the bowling average is, the better the bowler is performing. It is one of a number of statistics used to compare bowlers, commonly used alongside the economy rate and the strike rate to judge the overall performance of a bowler. When a bowler has taken only a small number of wickets, their bowling average can be artificially high or low, and unstable, with further wickets taken or runs conceded resulting in large changes to their bowling average. Due to this, qualification restrictions are generally applied when determining which players have the best bowling averages. The 2015 ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier was an international women's cricket tournament held in Thailand from 28 November to 5 December 2015. It was the second edition of the Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier. Eight teams contested the tournament, with the hosts, Thailand, being joined by the bottom two teams from the 2014 World Twenty20 and five regional qualifiers. Ireland defeated Bangladesh in the final by two wickets, with both teams qualifying for the 2016 World Twenty20 tournament in India. Bangladesh's Rumana Ahmed was the player of the tournament and was the leading wicket-taker, while Ireland's Cecelia Joyce led the tournament in runs. Midland Guildford Cricket Club plays in the Western Australian Grade Cricket competition. Their home ground is Lilac Hill Park. History Midland Guildford Cricket Club started its association with the WACA in 1902/03 when it submitted a B-Grade team in the WACA Competition under the name Midland Junction and District Turf Cricket Club. In 1910/11 the club was admitted to the First Grade competition with a team also playing in B2-Grade. The home ground at the time was Midland Oval. In 1914/15 Midland Junction's area took in the Swan District region and changed its name to Midland-Swan Cricket Club.
