Estadio Municipal Los Arcos
Estadio Municipal de Los Arcos is a football ground in Orihuela in Valencian Community, Spain. It is the home of the Orihuela CF football (soccer), football team. The first official match played in Los Arcos was a Torneo Vega Baja game organized by Federación Murciana de Fútbol on May 13, 1945. The former Orihuela Deportiva CF, Orihuela Deportiva beat CD Torrevejense 5-1. However, the official opening was several months later, on December 26, 1945. The bishop of Orihuela José García Goldáraz blessed the ground and a friendly match was played, where Orihuela Deportiva CF, Orihuela Deportiva lost to La Liga, Primera División team Real Murcia. The most important renovation took place in 1990. After the promotion of Orihuela Deportiva CF, Orihuela Deportiva to Segunda División, the highest stands of the grandstand were built. Orihuela
Orihuela (; ca-valencia, Oriola ) is a city and municipality located at the feet of the Sierra de Orihuela mountains in the province of Alicante, Spain. The city of Orihuela had a population of 33,943 inhabitants at the beginning of 2013. Orihuela Club de Fútbol is a Spanish football team based in Orihuela, in the Valencian Community. Founded in 1993 it plays in Tercera División RFEF – Group 3, holding home games at ''Estadio Municipal Los Arcos'', with a capacity of 7,000 seats. History On 4 August 1993, the chairman of ''Orihuela Juventud y Deportes'', Pedro Albarracín, received a notification from the Valencian Community Football Federation, allowing him to change the name of the club to ''Orihuela Club de Fútbol''. Orihuela Deportiva Club de Fútbol was a Spanish football team based in Orihuela, in the Valencian Community. Founded in 1944 and dissolved 50 years later, it managed to play two seasons in Segunda División, the first in 1952.
