Escape From Scorpion Island
''Escape from Scorpion Island'' is a BBC children's TV adventure game show in which contestants try to 'escape from an exotic island with a mind of its own' by doing various challenges to improve their chances of escaping. Series 1 was made by RDF Television for CBBC and was filmed in Brazil, while series 2 onwards were produced by Foundation/Freehand for CBBC and ABC Television and were filmed in Australia. The show has been presented by 3 different sets of presenters; Caroline Flack and Reggie Yates (series 1), JK and Joel (series 2–3) and Myleene Klass and Johny Pitts (series 4–5). The show ran for five series across four years before being cancelled in 2011 following the end of BBC's and ABC's partnership. Reggie Yates
Reginald (Reggie) Yates (born 31 May 1983) is a British writer and director with a career spanning three decades on screen as an actor, television presenter and radio DJ. Yates played Leo Jones in ''Doctor Who'' and has worked at the BBC in radio and television–presenting various shows for BBC Radio 1 for a decade as well as hosting the BBC One singing show ''The Voice UK'', hosting the first two series with Holly Willoughby. ABC Me (stylised as ABC ME) is an Australian English language children's free-to-air television channel owned by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. It was officially launched by Prime Minister Kevin Rudd on 4 December 2009 as ABC3. ''Endurance'' is an American reality television series, previously shown on the Discovery Kids cable network in the United States and also on networks in other countries. The show's format is somewhat similar to the television series '' Survivor'', with a teenage cast. ''Endurance'' contestants live in a remote location and participate in various mental and physical challenges, although ''Endurance'' contestants compete as pairs (one boy and one girl), and the outcome of the competitions determines which pair of players is eliminated. Endurance (also related to sufferance, resilience, constitution, fortitude, and hardiness) is the ability of an organism to exert itself and remain active for a long period of time, as well as its ability to resist, withstand, recover from and have immunity to trauma, wounds or fatigue.
