Erwin Koeman (1983)
Erwin Koeman (born 20 September 1961) is a former Dutch professional football player who currently serves as an assistant coach for the Netherlands national team. As a midfielder, he played in three spells at Groningen and two at PSV Eindhoven, as well as winning national and European trophies at Mechelen in Belgium. He earned 31 caps for the Netherlands between 1983 and 1994, being part of the team that won UEFA Euro 1988 and played at the 1990 FIFA World Cup. Koeman managed Feyenoord, RKC Waalwijk (twice) and Utrecht in the Eredivisie, as well as the national teams of Hungary and Oman. He also served as an assistant manager to his younger brother Ronald Koeman at Premier League pair Southampton and Everton, and the Dutch national team. Euroborg
The Euroborg () is the stadium in Groningen, Netherlands. It is the home of football club FC Groningen, with a capacity of 22,525 seats. The stadium site houses a casino, movie theater, school, supermarket, and a fitness centre. A temporary railway station at the Euroborg Stadium opened in late 2007, and a permanent one opened in 2013. Helmond Sport
Helmond Sport is a professional association football club based in the city of Helmond, North Brabant, Netherlands, that competes in the Eerste Divisie, the second tier of the Dutch football league system. The club was founded on 27 June 1967, as a breakaway from the local professional club Helmondia '55, which had gone bankrupt. History The club was founded in 1967, after the professional license was taken over from RKSV Helmondia '55 in order to keep professional football in Helmond. Helmond Sport started in the Tweede Divisie. After only a year, the club was promoted to the First Division after winning the promotion matches against Fortuna Vlaardingen and SC Veendam. Martin Koeman
Martinus Cornelis Koeman (26 July 1938 – 18 December 2013) was a Dutch footballer who played as a centre-back. Biography Koeman played professional football with KFC of Koog aan de Zaan from 1955 to 1960, Blauw-Wit Amsterdam from 1960 to 1963, GVAV/Groningen from 1963 to 1973 and SC Heerenveen until his retirement. He was selected regularly for the Netherlands national team but only played one match, against Austria on 12 April 1964. Despite his respectable career, he is best known for being the father of Erwin and Ronald Koeman, who followed in their father's footsteps as footballers, with both of his sons playing for Groningen and the Dutch national team. Ronald Koeman
Ronald Koeman (; born 21 March 1963) is a Dutch professional football manager and former player. He is the younger brother of his former international teammate Erwin Koeman and the son of former Dutch international Martin Koeman. Koeman was capable of playing both as a defender and as a midfielder; he frequently played as a sweeper, although he was equally known for his goalscoring, long–range shooting, and accuracy from free kicks and penalties. Born in Zaandam, Koeman began his career at Groningen before transferring to the Netherlands' most successful club Ajax in 1983, where they won the national Eredivisie title in 1984–85.
