Skogskyrkogården (; ) is a cemetery located in the Gamla Enskede district south of central Stockholm, Sweden. Its design, by Gunnar Asplund and Sigurd Lewerentz, reflects the development of architecture from Nordic Classicism to mature Functionalism (architecture), functionalism. History Skogskyrkogården came about following an international competition in 1915 for the design of a new cemetery in Enskededalen, Enskede in the southern part of Stockholm, Sweden. The entry called "Tallum" by the young architects Gunnar Asplund and Sigurd Lewerentz was selected. After changes made to the design on the recommendations of the competition jury, work began in 1917 on land that had been old gravel quarries that were overgrown with Scots Pine, pine trees, and the first phase was completed three years later. Beppe Wolgers
John Bertil "Beppe" Wolgers (10 November 1928 – 6 August 1986) was a Swedish author, poet, translator, lyricist, actor, entertainer and artist. Career Wolgers was born in Stockholm, Sweden and was the son of forest ranger John Wolgers and Gerda (née Korsgren). He attended Germantown Friends School in Philadelphia, United States from 1947 to 1948 and Poppius journalistskola and Otte Skölds målarskola from 1946 to 1947. Wolgers was a journalist at '' Stockholms-Tidningen'' from 1960 to 1961. Wolgers had also exhibits together with Ernfrid Bogstedt. He wrote about a thousand songs and specialized in putting Swedish lyrics to foreign tunes like " Walkin' My Baby Back Home", " Waltz for Debby", "Dat Dere", "Eleanor Rigby", "Take Five" and "Bachianas brasileiras" no 5. Fake (Swedish Band)
Fake was a Swedish synthpop band during the 1980s. History Fake was formed when two Swedish musicians, Erik Strömblad and Stefan Bogstedt, founded their own band, then called Size 46, in 1977. The band grew over the next few years, with metal drummer Stefan Sverin and singers Tony Wilhelmsson and Ulrika Örn being added to the lineup, and with more synthesizers added to their rock music sound. Stefan Sverin moved on as a session drummer for various acts such as American actor Cliff Taylor and Claes Muncktell from Dave and the Mistakes. He has since gave up drumming and is now working as an Art Director in Stockholm. The group's second single, "Donna Rouge", was a major hit in Italy and the remix became a disco classic. The band performed on the ''Discoring'' television show in 1985 and Festivalbar in 1985. An album, ''New Art'', was released in 1984.
