Erling Rønneberg
Erling Rønneberg (9 September 1923 – 8 July 2008) was a Norwegian politician for the Norwegian Labour Party, Labour Party. Biography He was born at Ã…lesund as the second son of Alf Rønneberg (1894–1969) and Anna Sandberg (1894–1987).Family genealogy (vestraat.net) He was a grandnephew of Anton Johan Rønneberg. His brother Joachim Rønneberg (1919–2018) was a well-known resistance member. During the German occupation of Norway (1940–1945) Erling Rønneberg was a member of the Norwegian resistance movement. Rønneberg Family
Rønneberg is a Norwegian patrician family from Sunnmøre. It was the most prominent business family of Ålesund during the 19th and early 20th century, and its history is closely connected to the rise of Ålesund as a city. The Rønneberg Company, founded in 1812, was for a long time the city's largest company and employer. The family is descended from Christopher Tjærandsen Rønneberg (1737–1824), the son of a farmer from Jæren, who became a burgher and a wealthy merchant at Sunnmøre. He was the father of ship-owner and fish wholesaler Carl Rønneberg (1779–1858), who founded the Rønneberg Company, and who is often regarded as the principal founder of the city of Ålesund. Carl Rønneberg was the father of Carl E. Rønneberg jr. Follo, Norway
Follo (old spelling Foldouge) is one of three traditional and judicional districts in the former fylke (county) of Akershus, Norway - south east of Oslo towards the former county of Østfold, the other two regions being Romerike (east of Oslo following european route E6 going east and then north in Norway) and Asker og Bærum (west of Oslo). Follo borders Oslo to the North-West, fellow Akershus district Romerike to the North-East and East, and Østfold to the south. The municipalities of Frogn and Vestby have coast lines along the Oslofjord. Ås and Oppegård have coast lines along the Bunnefjord (a part of the Oslofjord that extends south-east), and Nesodden has coast lines along both fjords. Ålesund () sometimes spelled Aalesund in English, is a municipality in Møre og Romsdal County, Norway. It is part of the traditional district of Sunnmøre and the centre of the Ålesund Region. The town of Ålesund is the administrative centre of Ålesund Municipality, as well as the principal shipping town of the Sunnmøre district. The town is a sea port and is noted for its concentration of Art Nouveau architecture.
