Erik Maris
Erik Maris (born 16 February 1964 in Angers) is a former French racing driver and banker. Biography Érik Maris studied banking at HEC Paris and, after graduating, joined the Paris branch of the US investment bank Lazard. In 2009, he became managing director of the bank, but left after just one year in this position. In 2010, he founded the bank ''Messier Maris & Associés'' in Paris together with Jean-Marie Messier. Érik Maris entered motorsport late. At the age of 49, he drove his first international sports car race at the 2013 6 Hours of Circuit of the Americas. He finished this endurance race, which was part of that year's FIA World Endurance Championship, in 25th place overall in the Morgan LMP2 with his partners Jacques Nicolet and Jean-Marc Merlin. The Porsche 997 is the sixth generation of the Porsche 911 sports car manufactured and sold by the German automobile manufacturer Porsche between 2004 (as Model Year 2005) and 2013. The 24 Hours of Le Mans (french: link=no, 24 Heures du Mans) is an endurance-focused Sports car racing, sports car race held annually near the town of Le Mans, France. It is the world's oldest active Endurance racing (motorsport), endurance racing event. Unlike fixed-distance races whose winner is determined by minimum time, the 24 Hours of Le Mans is won by the car that covers the greatest distance in 24 hours. OAK Racing
OAK Racing is an endurance racing team specialising in sports prototypes based in Le Mans, France. In 2013 it won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in LMP2 class and the 2013 FIA WEC World Champion drivers and teams on LMP2 class. Ligier JS P2
The Ligier JS P2 is a racing car designed and built by French manufacturer Onroak Automotive and named in partnership with French former racing driver Guy Ligier. Designed for the Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2) regulations, it is intended as a second option to Onroak's Morgan LMP2 that has been competing since 2012. As well as being the first closed-cockpit car offered by Onroak, it is also the first car they designed entirely in-house. Jacques Nicolet (born 5 April 1956 in Gigondas) is a French businessman and racing driver. He is the chairman of the Supervisory Board for Altarea SCA, a French real estate investment and development company, which he co-founded in 1994 with Alain Taravela. He was previously the director of development at the Pierre & Vacances Group between 1984 and 1994. He is also the owner and a driver of OAK Racing, a Le Mans 24 Hours and FIA World Endurance Championship racing team.
