Eric Wu
Eric Wu (; born 14 July 1953) is a Taiwanese business executive and politician. Education and early career Wu obtained a bachelor's degree in law from National Taiwan University, and continued his legal studies at Harvard Law School while earning a master's in business administration from Harvard University. Wu became a lawyer in New York before returning to Taiwan, where he taught at Soochow University and led the , a subsidiary of Taishin Financial Holdings, as chairman. Wu retained his business leadership positions while serving on the Legislative Yuan. Wu's elder brothers Thomas and Eugene are also businessmen. Eric Wu's sister Wu Ju-yueh is the eldest of his siblings. For a time, Eric Wu rented the residence of entrepreneur Chiang A-hsin, and established the Chin Kuang Fu Foundation in 1995 to maintain the property. Legislative Yuan
The Legislative Yuan is the unicameral legislature of the Republic of China (Taiwan) located in Taipei. The Legislative Yuan is composed of 113 members, who are directly elected for 4-year terms by people of the Taiwan Area through a parallel voting system. Originally located in Nanking, the Legislative Yuan, along with the National Assembly (electoral college) and the Control Yuan (upper house), formed the tricameral parliament under the original 1947 Constitution. The Legislative Yuan previously had 759 members representing each constituencies of all provinces, municipalities, Tibet, Outer Mongolia and various professions. Taiwan Television Enterprise, Ltd. (), commonly known as TTV and formerly known as Central Television and Voice of Taiwan, is the first terrestrial television station in the Republic of China (Taiwan). Annette Lu
Annette Lu Hsiu-lien (; born 7 June 1944) is a Taiwanese politician. A feminist active in the tangwai movement, she joined the Democratic Progressive Party in 1990, and was elected to the Legislative Yuan in 1992. Subsequently, she served as Taoyuan County Magistrate between 1997 and 2000, and was the Vice President of the Republic of China from 2000 to 2008, under President Chen Shui-bian. Lu announced her intentions to run for the presidency on 6 March 2007, but withdrew to support eventual DPP nominee Frank Hsieh. Lu ran again in 2012, but withdrew for a second time, ceding the nomination to DPP chairwoman Tsai Ing-wen. Fredrick F. Chien, or Fred Chien, Chien Foo (; born 21 March 1935), is a retired Taiwanese diplomat and politician who served as the President of the Republic of China Control Yuan from 1999 to 2005. Huang Cheng-che (; born 30 November 1948) is a Taiwanese politician. Huang received a military education, at what is now known as National Defense University. He worked for a number of engineering and construction firms and was president of the board of trustees for the present-day Kainan University.
