Middleton, Lancashire
Middleton is a village and civil parish in the City of Lancaster in Lancashire, England, between Heysham and Overton. It had a population of 705 in 2011. Middleton was the location of Middleton Tower Holiday Camp, which opened in 1939. The camp was owned by Pontin's from July 1955 until its closure in October 1994. Rochdale ( ) is a large town in Greater Manchester, England, at the foothills of the South Pennines in the dale on the River Roch, northwest of Oldham and northeast of Manchester. Bowling, in cricket, is the action of propelling the ball toward the wicket defended by a batter. A player skilled at bowling is called a ''bowler''; a bowler who is also a competent batter is known as an all-rounder. Bowling the ball is distinguished from ''throwing'' the ball by a strictly specified biomechanical definition, which restricts the angle of extension of the elbow. Lancashire County Cricket Club represents the historic county of Lancashire in English cricket. The club has held first-class status since it was founded in 1864. Essex County Cricket Club
Essex County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Essex.
